Event Accessibility
Let us help you plan ahead to ensure your time at the event is filled with fun!
Security Screening at Entrances
Metal detectors will be in use at each entrance to the event for security screening purposes. All patrons entering the secure festival are subject to a bag check. Clear bags are highly encouraged.
Necessary medications, medical supplies, and a small amount of personal food items (for persons with dietary restrictions and medical necessities) will be allowed.
Service animal verification will take place at bag check locations through the Festival. Staff may ask if the animal is required due to a disability and what work or task has the animal been trained to perform per ADA verification rules.
Entrance 1: Saint Louis and Wayne, near 301 S St Louis Blvd
Entrance 2: Jefferson Blvd, near Howard Park Public House 602 E Jefferson Blvd
Accessible Parking and Transportation
Accessible parking is available in the shared lot behind Zion Communiity Church, 211 S. Saint Peter St.
Saint Louis Blvd will be closed for the event, so parking lot access is available via Wayne Street.
Accessible Event Shuttle Bus
First Student is our parking shuttle partner and will have wheelchair accessible school bus to help transport event visitors from overflow parking lots.
The Shuttle will be available from 12PM – 4PM Saturday and Sunday.
Pick up will be from the Saint Joseph High School Field Lot near Leighton Stadium. Drop off near the event will be at the intersection of Wayne Street and Saint Peter Street.
Resources at Event
Info Booth
Each entrance will have information booths with printed copies of the event map and schedules, as well as accessible restroom locations
Water Oasis
Stay hydrated and cool at the water mister and hydrated at the water fountains near the Howard Park event center.
Sensory Friendly Indoor Spaces
A room inside the Howard Park event center is available for visitors of all ages. Lighthouse Autism Center will be a partner
Accessible Portable Toilets
Accessible port-a-johns will be available, as well as accessible restrooms in the Howard park event center
Shade Spots
Tents will be available by region and near the playground for heat sensitive visitors. Check out the interactive map for more info
Service Animal Friendly
Service animals are welcome at Fusion Fest. Please note that only trained service animals are permitted, and SBPD may screen animals upon entry.
Accessible Playgrounds
Howard Park’s ADA accessible, state-of-the-art playground is over 13,000 square feet of innovative and traditional playground equipment. Each area of the playground is designed specifically for different age groups from ages 2-12
Trackless Train
There will be a trackless train on the festival grounds which will follow a route to help visitors get from one side of the park to another. Please be aware that the train may not be able to accommodate all mobility aids.
Event Volunteers
Look out for our volunteers throughout Fusion Fest! They’ll be wearing bright blue t-shirts, making them easy to spot if you need directions, information, or assistance during the event.

Fusion Fest is unable to provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please plan ahead and bring attendants, if needed. In addition, the festival does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed.
