Parking

Convenient event parking is available at the public Wayne Street Garage, as well as the Crowe Lot and Everwise Credit Union on Jefferson. Parking is also available on the streets within walking distance of Howard Park. ADA-accessible parking is available at the Zion Church Lot. Paid parking is available at Century Center. A shuttle route with ADA accessibility will stop at St. Joseph High School Lot and School Field Lot. PLEASE NOTE: Be aware of private lots. No public parking is permitted in the Primary Care Partners of South Bend Lot. Vehicles risk being towed.

Festival goers parking in the Crowe Lot may utilize Howard Park’s pedestrian bridge to use Fusion Fest’s Wayne St. Entrance.

Street Closures

  • 9/23/24: 7am street closure at the intersection of St. Louis/St. Peter to St. Louis/Jefferson intersection  
  • 9/13/24: 7am street closure at the intersection of St. Louis/Jefferson to the Jefferson/MLK intersection.  
  • 9/14/24: Festival hours are 11am-8pm with fireworks and car show on Jefferson 
  • 9/15/24: Festival hours are 11am-6pm 
  • 9/16/24: Jefferson Street opens at 6am 
  • 9/16/24: St. Louis Blvd. opens at 6am

Frequently Asked Questions

Unfilled water bottles are permitted in the festival. Bottles can be filled at the Support Building near the restrooms or inside the Howard Park Event Center.

There is no admission fee to Fusion Fest. There will be items available to purchase onsite from food and artisan vendors. 

Yes, all bags are subject to search, and no backpacks will be permitted in the festival. Anyone entering the festival grounds will pass through a metal detector or be scanned with a wand. There are only two entrances available for entry. Clear bags are highly encouraged, ensuring less wait times at both entrances. Please see the festival map for details. 

The following items are prohibited from entering the festival. If you try to bring these items in, you will be asked to dispose of them or return them to your car. The festival is a zero-tolerance weapon and drug zone, and will be enforced.  

  • All weapons (with or without a permit) 
  • Bladed items of any kind 
  • Pepper spray/mace 
  • Fireworks, flammable liquids, and other explosive materials 
  • Audio recording devices 
  • Professional cameras and video cameras with telephoto or removable zoom lenses 
  • Drones or any other remote controlled moving object 
  • Monopods, tripods, and selfie sticks 
  • Backpacks and other large bags (clear backpacks are allowed) 
  • Coolers – Including any outside food and beverage items 
  • Illegal drugs 
  • Laser pens 
  • Pets 
  • Tents 
  • Any other item deemed inappropriate by management/staff 

Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian starting at 6PM Saturday and 4PM Sunday.

First Student is partnering with VPA to provide a wheelchair accessible bus to help transport visitors from overflow parking logs. The shuttle will be available from 12 – 8 pm Saturday and 12 – 5pm Sunday.

No. The festival hours are 12pm-8pm on September 26 and 12pm-6pm on September 27. Outside of festival hours, the gates to the park will be closed and security will be on-site. 

Yes! We encourage you to bring your own camp-style lawn chairs or blankets. Please be cognizant of your surroundings when planning what items to bring and refrain from bringing items that will obstruct others’ views. 

No. Outside food or beverage is NOT permitted. You will be asked to throw these items out or return them to your car. There will be many local and regional vendors for a variety of food and beverage choices. 

All concerts will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe weather conditions, we will keep all guests notified via social media and local news outlets. We will notify guests immediately should an event be delayed, postponed, or cancelled due to inclement weather. 

For the safety and comfort of our guests, pets will not be allowed inside the concert grounds. Working service animals are welcome! 

No smoking or vaping is permitted on festival grounds.
